NGO Puts Smiles On Faces Of 800 Orphans In Kudan

The Jama’atu Nasrul Yatama Orphanage Kudan, a non Governmental Organization has put smiles on about 800 orphans  with food and cloth donation during its 16th edition of distribution of the items.
The occasion which took place at the Kudan Multipurpose Hall, witnessed a large turn out of Kudan indigenes, excluding all the elected representatives and the politicians.
Speaking, the Sarkin Kudan and Chairman of the occasion, Alhaji Aminu Isa Ashiru Kudan expressed worries over the non fulfilment of pledges made by some individuals during the 15th edition.
Alhaji Aminu Isa Ashiru Kudan used the occasion to remind the people of the importance attached to  supporting  orphans, adding that some are  taking such  for granted.
The chairman of the occasion promised to follow and collect all the pledges made on behalf of the committee in order to maintain the good work the are doing.
He charged all indigenous people of Kudan to as a matter of urgency,  mobilize funds for the school fees payment of 17 orphans who got admission at FCE Zaria.
Earlier in his address, the committee’s Secretary, Malam Adamu Muhammad Kudan said the committee has been focused on skills acquisition training, education both Islamic and Western, distribution of food and clothes for Ramadan and Sallah and healthcare among others to the orphans,
He highlighted some challenges facing the committee which include, shortage of funds and lack of healthcare facilities to attend the health needs of the orphans in the area.
In his lecture, Dr Mu’azu Sa’adu Kudan emphasized the importance of assisting orphans at all levels.
Dr. Mu’azu Kudan advised people to always support and assist the orphans to have a better life as if their parents were alive.
