*Sports Facilitator, Osiebe says she’s a rare talent

The MicroManna Most Valuable Athlete (MVA) at the Faith Academy Kaduna 2018 annual inter-house sports competition, Peace Lekwot has expressed desire to make Nigeria proud at the Olympics in no distant future.
She expressed this while speaking to www.authenticnewsdaily.com after she was presented with a giant multiple printing machine donated by MicroManna Computers.
According to her, emerging MVA will spur her on to working harder.
“I have been further motivated to improve myself through training and commitment that would see me become a stunning star that would make Nigeria proud at the Olympics by winning gold medals,” she assured.
Lekwot who is just 12 years old and a JSS 2 student, commended MicroManna for sponsoring the award, while adding that it would bring out the best in athletes.
To win the 2018 award, she claimed a total of 24 medals, comprising 18 gold and six silver.
Last year, she was runner-up for the prestigious award as she won seven gold, four silver and four bronze medals.
Speaking on her accomplishment, Sports Facilitator of Faith Academy, Coach Felix Osiebe said that the athlete has rare talents.
“She is a rare talent, whom we discovered and would groom to stardom. Nigeria is blessed to have her,” he said.
On the general success of the school’s inter-house sports, he described the 8th edition as a huge success.
He assured that they will consolidate on the successes in next edition.
Osiebe praised the school’s management for encouraging sports development.
He also commended the President of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), Engineer Musa Nimrod for donating volleyballs to the school, through the Director of Sports, Kaduna State, while assuring to use it judiciously to further contribute to development of the game.
