Mamman Lagos Inaugurates Project Monitoring Committee For Southern Kaduna

As a follow-up to Governor Uba Sani’s flagging off of infrastructures development for Southern Kaduna, State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Hon. Sadiq Mamman Lagos has inaugurated Project Monitoring Committee for Zone Three.

The committee chaired by Ruth Ango from Zangon Kataf and Kassai Hussaini as secretary from Jema’a Local Government Area, was saddled among other functions, to ensure timely delivery of quality jobs, liaise with local beneficiaries on service delivery and serve as eyes and hears for the state government.

Sadiq Mamman Lagos charged members of the committee to utilize effective mechanism of monitoring and evaluation by interfacing with locals with the aim of achieving set out goals.

The committee subdivided into three for effectiveness, would have Solar Street Light, Road Construction and Rural Electrification. 

The Local Government Commissioner while reiterating the commitment of Governor Uba Sani to open up rural areas by constructing feeder roads into remotely located villages, assured the people of Southern Kaduna of fair treatment, equity and inclusiveness in political and socio-economic affairs of the current administration.

He said the governor is aware of real situation in the whole area and  set machineries in motion to correct all the infractions in the zone.

Ruth Ango in her speech, pledged to discharge her duties with zeal, patriotism and adherence to terms of reference of the committee.

She commended Uba Sani for the bold and giant strides taken to bring development to Southern part of the state.

Ango called on the people of the zone to support the current administration headed by Uba Sani so that he could do more for the Zone.

She also added that, “with these kind gesture from our amiable Governor, we the good people of  Zone 3 will reciprocate the gesture come 2027 general elections, God willing”.
