The Deputy Governor
of Oyo State, Engineer Rauf Olaniyan on Friday described the late Oyo State Governor, Otunba Adebayo Alao Akala as a benefactor who he immensely benefitted from.
Speaking during the inter-faith prayer held at the Opadoyin Akala residence of the late governor, Engineer Olaniyan declared that he is proud to boldly say he was a beneficiary of the large heartedness and kindness the Ogbomoso born ex governor exuded.
The deputy governor stressed that the late Otunba Alao-Akala’s heart was so large that anyone who came into his house with a cry will leave with happiness and rejoicing, and that the late governor embodied the commandment of God and was greatly used by God to answer the prayers of most of all the people that came across him.
Emphasizing that the late Otunba Alao-Akala was an accomplished leader who has run his race, and has won in life, Engineer Olaniyan then tasked that everyone should live right and godly with the fear of God while impacting the lives of people around them.
