La’ori Secures Approval For Establishment Of NILEST In Numan, Commissions More Projects

The paramount ruler of Bachama Kingdom, HRM Dr. Daniel Shaga Ismaila (oon) has commended the efforts of the Honourable member Numan/Demsa/Lamurde Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Kwomati Laori for his tireless efforts in revamping the educational sector in his constituency.
 Homon Ismaila who was speaking while  commissioning a fully furnished 6-block of classrooms sponsored by  Laori at at Government Science Technical College in Numan, decried the deteriorating level of infrastructure bedeviling the  education sector in his domain.
The Hama Bachama described Laori  as a renowned personality due to  his good track record and commitment to his constituents.
 While calling on the wealthy people of the area to emulate Laori, Homon Ismaila urged the people of Numan federation to give him their support at all times to enjoin more democratic dividends.
Speaking at the occasion, Hon. Kwamoti B Laori  said he has secured approval for the establishment of the Nigeria Institute for Leather Science Technology (NILEST) Extension Service Center in Numan Local Government Area of Adamawa State.

According to him, the center when fully functional, would afford youth across the state and parts of the North-East the opportunity to be trained on leather goods manufacturing technology at a subsidized cost.
He stated that products such as footwears, seat covers, bags, belts and wallets and a host of others, would be produced locally in Numan for export.
He pointed out that the newly commissioned building would be used as temporary site for takeoff of the institute  Commenting on the commissioned project, Laori said that, this is what is expected of him as a  leader.
The member decried the poor levels of science and technical schools due to lack of teaching infrastructure, he said, ” I will not fold my hands and watch a backward slide of  education in my constituency.
 ” I will do everything within my power to contribute positively to the development and advancement of the education sector”, Laori stated.
 While promising  the people of the community more projects he prayed for continuous support and cooperation from them.
     Earlier, the principal of the junior section of  Government Science Technical College,  Mr. Robinuso Deneail Zadok commended the Honorable member for his  efforts.
 Zadok, who represented the principal of the senior section, Mrs Rakiya Barau called on the people of Numan federation to give La’ori more support in his political struggles.

New Nigerian reports that the federal lawmaker also donated customized writing materials to the students as part of his gesture to encourage students towards learning. 
Dignitaries who graced the  event included the Chief L.D. Nzadon, Prince Yakubu Ngbale, Prof. Dishi Khobe, Council Cha irman Pharm. Christopher Sofore among others.
