The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Lagos State Council has congratulated the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo Olu on the occasion of his 57th birthday.
In a joint statement by the council’s chairman, Comrade Adeleye Ajayi and the Secretary, Tunde Olalere, said, “the union and Lagosians in general are aware of the relentless efforts of Governor Sanwo-Olu, a selfless leader, geared towards making the state more great and prosperous under his watch.
“We celebrate a silent achiever, whose humility is second to none.
“We note that Governor Sanwo-Olu has accomplished the six pillars of Lagos State strategic development agenda ( THEMES) comprising Traffic Management & Transportation, Health & Environment, Education & Technology, Making Lagos A 21st Century Economy, Entertainment & Tourism and Security & Governance.
“A man of the masses and the real face of integrity.
“He is one of the strong pillars of democratic governance in Nigeria.
“Fifty seven years certainly looks good on you Sir.
“We pray that God will grant you many more years on earth in good health and the enablement to continue to pilot the affairs of Lagos State, the Centre of Excellence, in the right direction”.
