The Lafia Emirate Council has relieved Alhaji Musa Isa Mustapha Agwai, a son of the late Emir Of Lafia, of his traditional title of Ubangarin Lafia.
This was contained in a statement signed by its Secretary, Alhaji Rayannu Isa, dated November 19, 2022.
According to the statement, the Lafia Emirate Council, during its meeting on November 19, 2022, approved the immediate removal of Musa Isa Mustapha Agwai as the Ubangarin Lafia.
A retired Commissioner of Police, Alhaji Usman Isa Baba, was appointed by the Council as replacement with immediate effect, the statement added.
The Council however didn’t disclose the reason behind the change.
