A social group in the North, called ‘Northern Youth Consultative Forum’ has passed a vote of confidence on the managing director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Mr Mele Kolo Kyari for what it described as his reforms in the oil company.

Coordinator of the group Ayuba Hassan made the commendation while addressing journalists in Abuja after the forum’s annual meeting held Friday at Bolton White Hotel.

According to him, the decision to pass the vote of confidence on the managing director was in view of his innovative ideas and reforms geared towards revamping the oil sector.
