Kwara Police Command Reminds  Motorcycles,  Tricycles Of Ban Within Ilorin Metropolis

The Commissioner of Police, Kwara State Police Command, CP Ebunoluwarotimi Adelesi, psc+, FISN, has issued a reminder to motorcycle and tricycle operators in Kwara State.

The CP stated  on Saturday  that the existing ban on their operations between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. throughout the state is still effective. 

The reminder was issued following a meeting held by the CP and the associations of both groups at the police headquarters in Ilorin.

 The CP advised the union leaders to warn their members of the Command’s readiness to enforce the laws and prosecute any member caught violating them.

 The Commissioner of Police also warned criminal elements in the state to change their ways or face severe consequences. She advised law-abiding citizens to carry out their lawful businesses without fear of intimidation, either from criminals or law enforcement agencies.

 The Commissioner of Police stated that measures would be taken to ensure crimes and criminality become a thing of the past in Kwara State.
