Kogi Assembly Confirms 2 Commissioner Nominees, 50 Special Advisers.

The Kogi State House of Assembly has  confirmed the appointment of two commissioner nominees sent to the law making body by the governor of the state,  Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.

The confirmation came on Tuesday by the eight, during the House plenary in Lokoja.

The commissioner nominees that received the blessing of the hallowed chamber were, Dr. Adeniyi Helen Aderibigbe, (Ijumu) and Atuluku Levi Victor, from Omala State Constituency.

Imbued by the ecstasy of the lawmakers blessing shortly after confirmation,  Dr Adeniyi Helen Aderibigbe who spoke to newsmen, promised to put in her best in realizing the campaign promises of the present administration.

Dr. Aderibigbe cowed to commit her resources to tje development of the state through her commitment to do the  state and Nigeria proud through hard work and diligent to her duties.

“As the name of my ministry implies innovation, so the first thing to be brought in is innovation. We will review what is on ground. Actually, is a new ministry, but is not a strange ministry.

“There has been precedent as it regards the ministry. We will study what is on ground, take our own review, see areas that improvement has to be put in. If there is need for change, we will change. If there is need for restructuring we will restructure”the new commissioner assured.

” We will study every problem on ground, then we device means of providing solution for the problem. For us this are the technology aspects of it. I want to see Kogi State that other states will be emulating in term of technological improvement” She added.

The  Assembly also approved 50 special advisers to serve under the Government of Kogi State.

It could be recalled that the Kogi State Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo had written to the house to confirm  50 special advisers to work in his cabinet.
