Katsina State Government has approved the recommendation of Katsina Emirate Council for the retirement of Sarkin Kurayen Katsina, District head of Kuraye in Charanchi Local Government Area, Alhaji Abubakar Abdullahi Ahmadu with an immediate effect.
This was made known in a statement by Director Press, Office of Secretary to the Government of the State, Aliyu Abdullahi Yar’adua.
It said, “this is sequel to the petition received by government and subsequent investigation by the Katsina Emirate Council in which the District Head was found to have presided over a marriage contract without required Medical Certificate as provided by law and moreso, one of the parties is HIV positive.”
