Supporters of Katsina State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Daura Emirate have organized a rally to welcome him back from the All Progressives Congress (APC) national convention held in Abuja.
Barrister Ahmed Usman El-Marzuk was appointed National Legal Adviser of APC from Katsina State.
The convoy of vehicles lined up went round some roads in Daura metropolis to show their solidarity to the commissioner.
Addressing the gathering at his residence, Barrister El-Marzuk expressed his gratitude to the entire people who welcomed him.
He warned politicians against do or die affairs in their political activities.
Barrister Ahmed Usman El-Marzuk advised politicians to show sense of maturity during the forthcoming Local Government election in the state scheduled on April 11, 2022.
The Commissioner seized the opportunity and thanked the APC stakeholders in the North West zone, especially the Governors for nominating him as National Legal Adviser of the party.
Earlier, former Chairman of Daura Local Government Council, Engineer Abba Mato said the entire APC supporters of Daura Local Government Area have expressed appreciation with the appointment of Barrister El-Marzuk as National Adviser of APC.
He called for unity among members of the party and come out during the forthcoming local government election.
