Katsina State House of Assembly has upheld joint motions filed by Ibrahim Umar Dikko, Lawal Yaro and Salisu Hamza Kuraye of Matazu, Musawa and Kankara constituencies for the rehabilitation of Kafin Soli Matazu-Musawa Marabar-Musawa road.
Alhaji Umar Dikko said the road constructed by late Governor Umar Musa Yar’adua Administration has not witnessed any rehabilitation since it was constructed.
The co-sponsor Lawal Yaro representing Musawa called on the House to prevail on the executive arm to take urgent actions to save the road from total damage.
The Speaker of the House, Honourable, Nasiru Yahaya Daura
directed clerk to communicate to the executive arm for necessary actions.
Members representing Zango-Danja Katsina-Bakori-Kusada and Kafur supported the motion.
