Kano AFCS Commandant Calls On Qur’anic Graduands To Promote National Development.

The Commandant, Kano Air force Comprehensive School (AFCS), Wing Commander M.S. Garba has advised the graduating students to use the knowledge they acquired at the school in transforming  the nation.

He made the statement in his speech at the Quranic graduation of the Islamiyya section of the academy held on Saturday  August 6, 2022 at Air Marshall M.D. Umar Hall, where he told the graduands that Kano Air Force Comprehensive School is proud of its products where ever they are.

Wing Commander M.S. Garba said that Kano AFCS is an academy established by the NIgerian Air Force authority in its efforts at providing conducive learning avenue to the young, giving both Islamic and Western education with optimum results.

“We are working selflessly to ensure that our younger generation receives quality education at the grassroots level to ensure that  every student acquires sound education with best background especially at present when the policy makers are making impact towards educational progress like what is being seen on ground,” he added.

The commandant thanked  Honourable  Ado Doguwa for witnessing the ceremony  and all those who graced the colourful event, despite their  tight schedules and reassured that AFCS Kano would continue to graduate good ambassadors because the school is one of the best Air Force comprehensive schools established by the NAF authorities.

In his remarks, the PTA Chairman of the school, AVM Umar Ibrahim (retired) said that parents and guardians are proud of Kano Air Force Comprehensive School where their kids and wards remain the best.

 He expressed optimism that graduands from AFCS Kano are always brilliant across the globe.

Furthermore, the member representing Tudun wada and Doguwa Federal Constituency, Honourable Alhassan Ado Doguwa charged the graduands to use the knowledge they acquired to promote qur’anic education and gifted  1000 Naira each to five of the qur’anic  memorizers while the school  PTA received 1m as donation from the lawmaker.

The colourful event was attended by the representative of the Emir of Bichi,  Falakin Bichi, Alhaji Haruna, member representing Tudun Wada and Doguwa, Honourable  Ado Doguwa, the Commandant Air Force Kano Command, serving and retired military officers, parents and guardians, Islamic scholars and invited dignitaries.
