Kaduna  To Introduce Uba Sani Champions League

Kaduna State is making some arrangements to introduce a football league that will be tagged the Uba Sani Champions League.

The SA to the Governor on Sports,  Coach Said Idris Dibis disclosed this while fielding  questions in a radio sports programme in Kaduna, which was monitored by our sports correspondent.

Idris also called on those having passion for sporting activities to come and assist the government.

“I am going to talk to my Honourable Commissioner on how to introduce a football league, which will be called the Uba Sani Championship League within the state.

” Kaduna is one of the states,  well-known for sports, especially football, which is why we are going to use the league to discover some hidden talents across the state,” the Special Assistant said.

When talking about other sporting activities, Coach Dibis assured sports fans in the state, that the Uba Sani-led government will not focus on one activity in sports, but rather,  give all the sporting events attention.

“When someone mentions sports, people look on football only. We have about 48 sporting Associations in the state, and we are going to give them the needed attention. But we are also calling to those who have passion for sports to come out to support and sponsors their game of interest that will encourage the state government to achieve the desired goals.

“Apart from physical health, we are going to use sports to generate revenue for the state and empower our teaming  youth,”  the  first sports aide to the governor  in the state assured.
