Kaduna State Commissioner for Local Goverment and Chieftaincy Affairs Hon. Sadiq Mamman Lagos has charged members of his media team to always strive to project good policies and human development programmes of Governor Uba Sani.
He described the Governor of Kaduna State as a man of the people, with a compassionate heart and desire to uplift living standard of the masses in order to make the society a happy place for all.
Mamman Lagos made the statement while distributing working tools and gadgets to his conventional and new media team at the ministry’s complex in Kaduna.
He said governor Uba Sani had already made the job of his admirers easy by performing within a short time beyond the expectation of many, including critics of the present administration.
“Just take a tour round the state and sample people’s opinion, you will be amazed at the response you will get from the masses.
“More and more people are saying positive things about our Governor who has won over the hearts of individuals, including those in the opposition parties who were skeptical at the initial stage.
“He has demonstrated that governance is all about service to the people by ensuring they are of primary importance in any policy muted and initiated to deliver dividends of democracy to the masses who are the end beneficiaries of gains of representative governance like ours.
“The Governor has often stressed the need and imperative to touch every facet of governance for the benefit of the people and he has gone all out to ensure that his policies are masses-friendly and they make impact on the downtrodden,” he stated.
The commissioner assured of more glad tidings from the government, adding that Uba Sani would not relent until all campaign pledges have been fulfilled.
Laptops, android phones, tablets and accessories among others were handed out to members of the media team to aid the job of informing, enlightening and mobilizing the public towards understanding policy direction of the Uba Sani administration.
