In line with His Excellency, Gov. Uba Sani’s SUSTAIN agenda to develop rural areas, the newly constructed Market in Jaba LGA has officially been handed over and modalities for relocation of traders are in progress.
Kaduna Markets Development and Management Company (KMDMC) disclosed that the Kwoi Market is the first of the prototype markets for rural communities and will be replicated in other local government areas.
The prototype markets will take into consideration the low level of trade and economy in these areas and the shops therein will be significantly cheaper than those in urban areas.
KMDMC is also set to introduce a new prototype for cattle markets and perishable foods in the coming months.
