In furtherance of its reform of traditional institutions, the Kaduna State Government has established Dnata Chiefdom in Kagarko LGA and Arak Chiefdom in Sanga LGA.
Dnata Chiefdom was created from Jere Emirate, while Arak chiefdom is restructured from Gwantu Chiefdom.
Mr. Bitrus James is appointed as pioneer Chief of Dnata and Alh. Balarabe Abdullahi Karma is appointed as Chief of Gwantu.
Following the creation of Arak Chiefdom from Gwantu Chiefdom, the former Chief of Gwantu, His Highness Brig. Gen. Iliya Aliyu Yamma was appointed as Chief of Arak.
A statement signed by the Special Adviser to the Governor (Media & Communication) Muyiwa Adekeye at the weekend said the appointments take immediate effect.
