The Acting Governor of Kaduna State, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe on Wednesday, expressed confidence in completing projects partnered with Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETfund).
She stated this when she received a delegation of the agency, led by its Kaduna Zonal Coordinator, Bilkisu Zangon-Daura on a courtesy visit.
Dr. Balarabe explained that, “Having the zonal office here in Kaduna gives us a lot of confidence that all the projects that we have started in collaboration with TETfund would be completed on time.”
Balarabe commended the agency for the gesture and assured of support when the need arises.
In an interview with newsmen shortly after the visit, the Kaduna Zonal Coordinator, Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETfund) Bilkisu Zango-Daura assured that the Kaduna State University (KASU) would be one of the major beneficiary of this year’s TETfund projects.
Zangon-Daura disclaimed speculations that the TETfund scholarship is only awarded to specific categories of people, elaborating that it is based on merit.
“Our scholarship there’s a standing rule that says a school must send your name before we honour it and I believe from the VC in every school they have the list from what they told us and they follow the list no matter who you are, you would not get it unless the school sends you.r name.
”
