Kadpoly Mass Comm Alumni Congratulates New Nigerian Editor, Others Over Recent Appointments

Kadpoly Mass Communication Alumni Association (KAMASSCAA),  has congratulated the Online Editor of New Nigerian Newspapers, Okpani Jacob Onjewu Dickson, over his recent apooitmeht as the media Aide to the President of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN).

This was contained in a statement signed by the Coordinator of  KAMASSCAA, Comrade Sharifudeen Ibrahim Muhammad (Dan Jarida) ANIPR ANIM AIIPS, dated Saturday July 29, 2023, in which other of its members who were recently appointed, were also congratulated.

“We, the Council and entire members of Kadpoly Mass Communication Alumni Association (KAMASSCAA), extend our warmest congratulations to the following individuals on their well-deserved appointments: Malam Musa Abdullahi Krishi – Special Adviser on Media & Publicity to The Speaker, Federal House of Representatives.

“Samuel Aruwan – Mayor/Administrator, Kaduna Capital Territory Authority (KCTA), Kaduna, Malam Nura Adamu (Mada), Special Adviser on Broadcast to The Speaker, Federal House of Representatives.

“Jacob Onjenwu Dickson, Media Aid to the SWAN President and Malam Ismail Mudashir, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to The Deputy Senate President,” it said.

KAMASSCAA said that the  appointments come as no surprise, given their exemplary track records from their school days and  extensive experience in Public Relations and Journalism practice, as well as  commitment to the development of their respective states and Nigeria as a whole.

“As you embark on this new journey of stewardship, which undoubtedly entails sacrifices and challenges, we have faith in your ability to project your Principals and Government positively through various local, State, National, and International media platforms.

“Furthermore, we acknowledge your recent recognition as outstanding ambassadors of Kaduna Polytechnic during the inaugural Kadpoly Mass Communication Alumni Association (KAMASSCAA) Lecture and Award Ceremony at Hamdala Hotel in Kaduna,” it added.

KAMASSCAA therefore, charged each of them to continue being exemplary representatives of their Alma Mater and to carry out their new responsibilities in accordance with professional ethics.

“Accept our highest regards and best wishes. Once again, congratulations!” The statement said.
