Jos North Council Boss Pledges Inclusiveness In Governance

The Executive  chairman of  Jos North Local Government Council, Shehu Bala Usman, has restated his administration’s  commitment  towards  inclusive style of leadership as well as  promoting peace,

security and development in all communities of the locality hitherto faced with series of unfortunate security challenges. 

The chairman expressed this when  officials of  the Berom  Educational and Cultural  organisation (BECO), in Dong paid him a courtesy visit in his office.

 Shehu Bala Usman commended  the Berom Educational and Cultural Organization for their peaceful disposition which is attracting government’s presence, urging the BECO officials to create more awareness on need for peaceful coexistence  to achieve more developments. 

The chairman  while thanking  the BECO officials of Dong  for the visit, assured them  that as soon as the financial position of the council improves, his administration will ensure the provision of social amenities that will touch positively the lives of the teaming citizens. 

Shehu Usman promised   to always carry along  Dong Community in his blueprint and budget provisions of the council..He pointed out  further that the council has put in place adequate measures to checkmate  the security challenges in Dong and is also synergiing

 with  other local government councils in the state to secure people’s lives  and equally guarantee them adequate security in order to go about their lawful activities without any fear or intimidation .
Earlier in his address, leader of the delegation and chairman of BECO Dong branch, Dah Joshua Boyi, through the chairman.Berom Youth Movement Dong, Ezekiel Joseph congratulated the chairman over his election to govern Jos  North LGC, and praised him  for his developmental initiatives and peace efforts  so far,which   according to him will help in moving Jos North LGA to enviable heights. The group noted that the chairmen’s inclusive  administration and zeal  to carry everybody along is endearing and pledged their unalloyed  support for the administration to record greater successes.
While expressing gratitude to the chairman for the appointment of one of their sons in Dong , Samuel Gyang Chollom, as council secretary, the community further said  it’ an appointment well deserved  and  shows inclusivity.
 The Dong community made a strong case for  employment of their sons and daughters,drilling of a borehole  at Hei Ta Dong village to check shortage of water in the community, grading of the road to Dong village  from Ecws church  in order to reduce hardships of people especially during the rainy season, as well as for improved Security in the area, to enable people go about their  activities , especially Farming and harvesting of the farm produce therefore
