Jos North BASSA Federal Constituency APC Primaries Declared Inconclusive, Delegates Allegedly Sell Votes

Delegates at the

All Progressives Congress (APC) primary elections for Bassa/Jos North Federal Constituency. have again decried money politics in the nation’s political system. 
The election scheduled for Tuesday at 10 00am, left delegates, observers, and journalists under uncertainty , only to commence.at about 1:00am Wednesday.
 State government’s favourite aspirant, Mr. Abbey Aku,  gave  N50,000 to each of the 810 delegates from Bassa/Jos North LGA
A delegate who spoke on condition of anonymity confided that; “Government officials gave each of us N50,0000 to vote representatives, Hon. Suleiman Kwande, gave same amount to only delegates that agreed to vote for him.
“Dr. Adamu Aliyu’s representatives gave 100 dollars to only delegates that agreed to vote for him.
“And Hon. Lumuba Da Adeh, gave N10,000  each to all delegates,” the source said.
The primary held at Lamonde Hotel, amidst tight security, was supervised by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).  
At the collation of the election results, tension heightened when one of the aspirants allegedly got a higher numbers of votes but the electoral officers said it was a tight race, thereby, the primary was declared inconclusive
