Inferno: Sardaunan Badarawa Visits Gumi, Donates N2m For Burnt Islamic School

As prominent Nigerians continue to sympathize with Kaduna based Islamic Scholar, Dr. Ahmad Gumi, whose block of building housing a learning center was gutted by an inferno yesterday, former Boss of Kaduna North, Hon Usman Ibrahim popularly called Sardaunan Badarawa has visited the cleric, donating the sum of two million naira for reconstructing the burnt edifice.

Sardaunan Badarawa expressed grief and sadness over the late afternoon fire outbreak, resulting in the loss of learning facilities including a computer center and other property worth millions of naira.

He however, noted with gratitude to Allah that no single life was lost in the tragedy, praying that no such misfortune should reoccur in future.

Sardaunan Badarawa who holds the title of San Turakin Hausa assured proprietor and management of the school of readiness to contribute his quota in the advancement of Islamic studies and education of pupil whom he described as fulcrums of the future generations.

He urged spirited individuals and corporate bodies to contribute in rebuilding the burnt school so learners could return to classrooms.

In his response, owner and proprietor of the school known as Kuliyattu Bamat, Dr. Ahmad Abubakar Gumi voiced his appreciation for the kind and prompt gesture of Sardaunan Badarawa, praying for Allah’s guidance, progress and protection for the philanthropist and Politician, wishing him success in his future ambitions.

The Cleric said alternative steps were being taken to ensure a seamless continuation of learning to avoid undue pause in study at the centre , attributing the misfortune to the will of Allah.
