The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Nasarawa State Governor, Audu Alhaji Sule, winner of the gubernatorial election in the state.
INEC Returning Officer for the election, Professor Tanko Ishaya made the declaration at the State Collation Centre in Lafia, the state Capital on Monday morning.
Ishaya said Sule of the All Progressives Congress (APC) polled 347,209 votes to emerge as winner of the election held on Saturday March 18, 2023.
His closest rival, David Ombugadu of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) polled 283,016 votes.
