Governorship primaries of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Plateau State has been rocked by crisis as some of the groups are threatening fire, alleging that the whole process lacks credibility.
According to an agent (name withheld), “the government machinery in the state decided the results of the election, as the exercise was a mere smoke screen just, to meet with the guidelines.
“It look the intervention of the security agents comprising the police, civil defense to calm nerves when it became apparently clear that some interests want to hijack the process”.
With this development, it is now certain that the ruling party in the state needs to work hard ahead of 2023 election.
