Igabi Reps Member Secures NEMA Relief Materials For Constituents

Hon Zayyad Ibrahim, member representing Igabi Federal Constituency in collaboration with the National Emergency Management Agency (Nema) and National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons, has secured and distributed free relief materials to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and vulnerable persons in his  constituency.

The relief materials  which were distributed on Sunday December 25, 2022 at the LEA primary school Jaji, include, rice, beans, maize, salt, spaghetti, cement, groundnut, tomatoes, seasoning and roofing sheets.

Others are, mats, towels, mattresses, charcoal cookers, mosquito nets. children wears, women under wears, textile materials, plastic buckets, plates, cups and bowls.

Making the presentation, the member said that it is meant to cushion the effects of  hardship on people of his constituency, from bandits attacks among other natural disasters.

He urged them to utilize the items for their good and not selling them off.

Meanwhile, as the 2023 general elections approaches, he urged his constituents not to sell  their votes, but elect credible candidates that will sustain the good works being enjoyed now.

To the youth  of his constituency, he admonished them not to engage in any social vices or allow themselves to be used as political thugs.

“Let us pray for a successful election and pray also for good leaders,”  he said, adding that only  when good leaders are elected, that they can bring about development in the state in particular and  the country at large.

Responding, some of the beneficiaries commended the member for his magnanimity and kind gesture, praying that God to blesses him.
