The just declared winner of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial primaries with 829 votes, Dr. Mustapha Sule Lamido, beating his opponent, Hon Sale Shehu who got zero votes, has pledged to campaign peacefully but vigorously.
Declaring the results, Barr. Ahmed said, “we were able to screened 932 delegates but 829 votes were cast with three votes invalid, and all the 829 were won by Dr. Mustapha Sule Lamido, beating his opponent, Hon. Saleh Shehu with zero vote.”
In his post election speech, Dr. Mustapha Sule Lamido thanked all for the success of the primaries and assured to work hand-in-hand with both the party’s leader’s, delegates, among other faithful.
“I call for all of us to work harder towards the success of our party come 2023 general elections,” he said.
