The House Committee on Aviation has expressed satisfaction with what they saw at the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT) Zaria on physical development.
How. Musa Mohammed Alkaleri, Deputy Chairman Of the committee made the remarks during their oversight visit to the college at the weekend.
He said they witnessed a lot of transformation and changes.
Hon. Mohammed Alkaleri assured the collage management of their support and commitment towards having their funds released.
According to him, their doors are wide open to NCAT management so that all their predicaments will be attended to with solutions provided.
Earlier in his welcome address, the Rector of the College, Captain Alkali Mahmoud Moddibo said one of their major challenges they are confronting is the high cost of gasoline.
“Also, inadequate number of requested specialized manpower such as Instructors due to high attention to industry,” he added.
Captain Alkali Mahmoud Moddibo said, the college is upgrading the training aids and equipment so that its graduates will continue to be the best.
He said training a pilot costs N7.5m which includes training kits, feeding, accommodation, healthcare and sports.
Members of the committee were taken round to inspect facilities alongside NCAT management.
