Honourable Esther Abba Mourns Vice Admiral Ishaya Ibrahim Iko

Honourable Esther Abba, House of Representatives hopeful, representing Zangon Kataf/Jaba Federal Constituency on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has described as a great loss the shocking death of the former Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Ishaya Ibrahim Iko.
“I personally lack words to described how l feel with the news of the death of Vice Admiral Ishaya Ibrahim Iko (rtd), former Chief of Naval Staff. His sudden departure to the great beyond is really a shocking news to me at a time of our trying moments that the likes of the former Chief of Naval Staff are needed to offer their vast advised towards the right direction in solving the challenges bedeviling the land.
“You were so a gentle statesman that chooses the words you uttered and anything you said had great meaning. You will indeed be remembered as a man who sought for peace by all means to ensure peaceful coexistence in Southern Kaduna, Kaduna state and the country as a whole.
“Indeed, l personally knew you as a man who always said the truth no matter what, you stood for what is right and pursue it to its logical conclusion. No wonder, the country and Southern Kaduna in particular will miss your fatherly advice in moving the society forward.
“Kaduna state and Southern Kaduna will also missed you in this time of insecurity the state is going through. You never hide your feelings in suggesting ways things could be handled in a manner of all irrespective of any different will be carried along in ensuring a sense of belonging to everybody in the area. We will really missed you.”
In a condolence letter personally written to the family of the deceased, Honourable Esther Abba advised the youths to learn from the former Chief of Naval Staff for his sincerity and honesty in ensuring that the right thing is done at all times.
She prayed that God in His infinite mercy will comfort the immediate family, the people of Jaba local government, Kaduna state and the country as a whole in this irreparable loss.
