The Honourable House of Representatives Member Ishaya David Lalu today 9th October 2023 fulfilled his pledge to Bokkos Progressive Youths by donating a brand new motorcycle to the youth body to support their activities, especially their useful supportive roles in security surveillance operations.
The motorcycle was handed over to the newly elected chairman of the youth, Comrade Tula Dem Christopher by Monday Mallo the Legislative Aide of the Reps member, Lalu.
In a mini ceremony which many gathered to witness the occasion, including notable elders such as, Baba Awalti, Baba Fomsom, Baba David Matawal alias Naira and Kobo, Chairman Sassabiya, Mr. Kense praised the Hon. Member for taking serious interest in the youth of his constituency whom he is their ambassador.
Baba Fomsom who on behalf of elders was full of appreciation for the gesture to the youth, urged
Hon Lalu not to relent on the Panyam Bokkos Wamba road project as he has shown great efforts so far.
Baba Awalti said, Lalu has listening ears and has redeemed his pledge made last Saturday.
Baba Naira and Kobo David Matawal the Chairman of Bokkos Community Development Association, thanked Lalu profusely on behalf of community leaders.
Mr Christopher TulaDem the Youth Progressive President while thanking Honourable Lalu, said the votes Bokkos gave Lalu were not in vain.
