*Fatima would help focus on youth, women affairs – constituents
*With wealth of experience spanning 25 years, Talba set to re-engineer House of Reps – aide

As the 10th National Assembly gradually grinds back to work, one of the major feature of the Nation’s Legislative House is the fact that female representation in both the Senate and House of Representative is packed with women of visionary and purposeful pedigree who would be given the males in a run for the money .
One of such women Amazon is Hon.Fatima Talba (Gimyan Tikau), Member of the House representing Nangere/ Postikum Federal Constituency of Yobe State.
Before delving into politics, Hon.Talba was a medical personnel, a career that she deployed so well by touching the lives of the ordinary citizens in Nangere, Postikum and environs.
Analysts projects that Hon.Talba, though not a first timer in the green chamber, would be a force to be reckoned with due to her intimidating wealth of experience.
From a career medical personnel to Local Government Chairman to being two times Commissioner then a Special Adviser , the Yobe born law maker is an asset to the House of Representative and the National Assembly .
According to Hussein Ibrahim, a public affairs analyst and commentator, Talba’s hard work and dedication was noticed by the authorities that she was appointed by the Military Governor of Yobe State then, Ben Kalio, to be the sole Administrator of Karasuwa Local Government Area
Ibrahim continued, “Despite the fact that Hon. Fatima Talba was seen as an outsider with no record of being in politics, Wing Commander Kalio appointed her as the Sole Administrator of Karasuwa.
Having distinguished herself with sterling performance, we soon be the chairman of Nangere Local Government Area
” In 2011, Governor Ibrahim Geidam appointed her as Commisioner for Health and Special Duties respectfully,
Another close associate of the law maker, Ibrahim Sadiq describes her as “a very meticulous administrator who pays attention to every little details of her brief that nothing escapes her scrutiny.
He further noted that Talba’s attention as a lawmaker would be to focus on the education of the girl child, women and youth development.
“Hajia Talba was also very passionate about the education of girl child within her local government area she was particular on the upliftment of women and youth in Potiskum, Nangare and in the state as a whole, that the Governor of the state, Mai Mala Buni drafted her to his cabinet as a Special Adviser of Women Affairs,” added.
Going by the analysis given about Hon. Fatina Talba, who was a member of the House of Representatives in 2003 to 2007 she is by no means a force to be reckoned.
The Green Chamber is set to witness purposeful deliberations on girl child, youth and women affairs
