Suspected gunmen in Lafia, Nasarawa State have killed Mr Jacob Agada, a retired immigration officer.
According to a source, the tragic incident occurred on Thursday night at Ombi 2, Lafia.
The source explained that Mr. Agada was reportedly returning to his house about 9pm when the hoodlums abducted him and his lifeless body was later discovered in the area.
He expressed sadness over the incident, saying that Agada was kidnapped by the hoodlums who were hiding not far from his gate.
According to him, the retired officer lived just beside a popular hotel in the area and called for prayers to end the insecurity challenges in the Ombi II, Danka, and Kwandare axis in recent times.
The Nasarawa State Police Public Relations Officer, Ramhan Nansel, the Nasarawa State Police Public Relations Officer, also confirmed the incident.
