Guber Polls: AIG  Abdurrahman Storms Kaduna State

Following the directives of the Inspector General of Police,  AIG Ahmad Abdurrahman, mni who was deployed to Zone 14 (Kaduna /Katsina) has arrived Kaduna on  a working visit to the  State Police Command.

A statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Mohammed Jalige, made available at the weekend, said that he arrived  on Thursday March 2, 2023 and had an interface with supervisory officers of the command and other critical stakeholders, with a view to ensuring the successful conduct of the upcoming Governorship/ State Assembly elections in the 23 local governments Areas of the State come March 11, 2023,

He reiterated the IGP’S  call on all security agents to exhibit high sense of professionalism and be non partisan in discharging their lawful duties during the election period. 

AIG Abdurrahman further warned that the Police is fully prepared to protect the lives and property of the good people of Kaduna State,  to provide conducive atmosphere for them to exercise their franchise. 

The AIG who was warmly received by CP Babaji Sunday alongside other senior officers on election duty, assured the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials and adhoc staff of their security across all the polling units in the state.

Meanwhile, he warned those who may be planning to cause mayhem during the period to have change of mind, as they cannot evade the eagle eyes of the force.
