President Northern Youth Council and Chairman Coalition of Civil Society Organization in Nigeria under the aegis of Nigerian Citizen Action Group (NCAG),  Isa Abubakar has distanced himself and his Civil Society Group from the purported press release that condemned the DSS invasion of Godwin Emefiele’s Lagos house and his forceful arrest.

In a statement he personally issued on Saturday, he said, “As a concerned citizen/individual nor as a group being Leader/member of civil society organization never made such statement infact the suspension and subsequent raid and arrest of former CBN Governor, Mr Emefiele Godwin is timely and accurate, the said forceful treatment by men of DSS is even far less of evil, frustration, fraud  and hardship perpetrated against Nigeria state and citizens by Mr Godwin Emefiele while in office as CBN Governor.”

He said that on behalf of himself and the coalition of civil society organization, they distance themselves from the unpatriotic press statement issued by faceless group and individual using his name and their CSO’s identity.

“It is our hope that justice will take it course,” the statement explained.

A Civil Society Organisation, under the auspices of Ethnic Youth Leaders had condemned DSS invasion of Godwin Emefiele’s Lagos house and his forceful arrest despite court order barring DSS from arresting him and wants him release.
