The Governor of Kaduna State, His Excellency, Senator Uba Sani has felicitated HRH Amb. Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, the Emir of Zazzau and Chairman Kaduna State Council of Chiefs on the third anniversary of his ascension to the throne, while commending the emir’s visionary leadership and exemplary role in human development and nation-building.
Governor Uba similarly, extended his congratulations to the entire emirate and prayed to the Almighty to grant the emir further success and achievements in his wise leadership of the emirate.
“On behalf of the Government and people of Kaduna State, I heartily congratulate His Royal Highness, Ambassador Alhaji Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli CFR, the Emir of Zazzau, and the entire Zazzau Emirate on the occasion of his 3rd coronation anniversary.
“HRH Amb. Ahmed’s three-year reign has been marked by remarkable achievements in fostering nation-building, human development, and social justice. He has initiated dialogues and reconciliation efforts to resolve deep-seated conflicts, uniting diverse ethnic and religious groups in Kaduna,” the governor said.
A statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Kaduna State, Muhammad Lawal Shehu on October 7, 2023, said that his dedication to peace and reconciliation has resolved longstanding conflicts among diverse groups, fostering unity and pride. Emphasizing cultural diversity while nurturing common values has strengthened the emirate’s nation-building efforts.
“The Emir’s dedication to improving education and healthcare access, especially in rural areas, underscores his commitment to human development, resulting in higher literacy rates and improved healthcare outcomes.
“There is no denying the laudable contributions of His Royal Highness to these remarkable milestones. Indeed, his generosity and wise counsel are acknowledged by all.
“In this brief time, his visionary leadership is a symbol of progress, unity, and hope, setting an example for the region. I, therefore, congratulate HRH Amb. Ahmed Bamalli on the anniversary of his ascension to the throne, May Almighty Allah, grant him a long, successful, and enduring reign in good health.
“I also extend my congratulations to the entire Zazzau Emirate and encourage them to draw inspiration from the Emir’s leadership. Let us embrace diversity and promote unity in our communities, prioritize education and healthcare for those in need, advocate for social justice, and work toward a more equitable society”
HRH Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, CFR, the 19th Emir of Zazzau is the first emir from the Mallawa Ruling House in 100 years.
Appointed on October 7, 2020, he succeeded the 18th emir, Shehu Idris who served for 45 years and passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2020.
