Governor Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai has inaugurated State All Progressive Congress (APC) Campaign Council urged them toward success of all the party seats across the state.
The governor made the call at the inauguration ceremony of the Kaduna State APC Campaign Council which held at the Yar’adua Hall of Murtala Square on Thursday in Kaduna.
He expressed appropriation to all that paid complement to his administration for the work they have done in the state.
He said the success they achieved was through collective efforts since inception, adding that the team will be intact to continue with the new APC administration led by Uba Sani.
While calling on the aspirants to correct the mistakes they have made and do even better when he assumed leadership.
According to him, “we have done a lot in the last seven and half years some are visible while some are not quite visible.”
He explained that they have changed the narrative of governance, and the advancement of a common man.
Gov el-Rufai further called on the party members to organize themselves and work very hard and ensure that APC is voted from top to bottom.
“Bola Tinubu is our candidate whom we all supported to get the ticket and we are sure we will not regret it,” he said.
“He is an experienced leader, he has shown what he can do in Lagos state we expect him to apply the same magic fomular to transform Nigeria for the better, ” he added.
He said Tinubu is a leader, who will be just, fair and equitable to all.
On his part, Senator Uba Sani the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has promised to carry everyone along for the success of the state.
He urged members of the APC campaign council to see their responsibility as a challenge and also work as a team.
“Remember that you are occupying a position of trust and do not forget in a democracy power belong to the people, ” he said.
He also charged them to be of good conduct and discharge their duties with all sense of responsibility by reaching all the grassroots to deliver messages with hard work and perseverance.
The APC governorship candidate while congratulating members of the campaign council, added that they where selected based on merit.
Speaking at the event, the APC National Chairman, Sen Abdullahi Adamu called on all aspirant across the state to work harmoniously for successful 2023 elections.
The APC National Chairman was represented by Salihu Suleiman said there is need to shun all differences to ensure all APC members become victorious in all the elections to ensure success for all.
While calling on the Senator Uba Sani to come prepared and continue from what Governor el-Rufai has done and even do more.
