Go Round FC will look beyond the shores of Nigeria as they continue in their bid to gain promotion to the Premier League.

Club’s president, Felix Obuah said over the weekend that they are looking forward to improve what they already have as promotion remains the target.

“There are areas we need to beef up in attack and midfield and I am already negotiating with seasoned players from outside the country.

“We are already preparing for CAF competitions and we want to take the Premier League by storm,” Obuah said.

“By the time we get to the NPFL no one will be talking about Manchester United and Chelsea, but Go Round FC.”

The club president expressed his dissatisfaction at their inability to score more goals against Papilo FC in a game they won 3-1.

“I am not happy because of the standard of play of my team. We could have scored four or five goals and I expected more from my team.

“That was my charge to the team to start scoring many goals from this game. I am happy we won though and are topping the league and I believe from now until the season ends we will not go below the first position,” Obuah said.

After the 3-1 win against Papilo FC, Go Round FC moved to the top of the Nigeria National League, NNL Southern Conference with 19 points.

The team, will be on the road to Ikom on Wednesday for a game against Unicem Rovers
