Prophet John Oluwadare of Christ Redemption Bible, Ketu, Lagos, has encouraged Nigerians to imbibe the attitude of giving to the less privileged in the society, to attract the blessings of God.
He stated this during the monthly interdenominational anointing service, titled: “The Given Grace”, and the text was taken from Deuteronomy 8:18. While, encouraging members not to give up on giving, he also told them to ask for the power of God if they must do His will.
Citing relevant Bible verses, the general superintendent decried the economic situation of the nation, describing it as biting hard on Nigerians.
“But disobedience to God’s instruction is the bane of the socio-economic and the financial challenges facing the citizenry, thereby increasing the poverty level in the country,” he said.
Oluwadare however, pointed out that Nigerians have sacrificed so much since the fuel price increase, although he said, they should however, have a positive approach to share the little that they have, especially payment of tithes and also to bring smiles to the downtrodden in their communities, in spite of the economic circumstances, assuring that they will benefit the reward thereof.
He therefore, advised and encouraged the federal government to fast-track the plans that will help cushion the effects of the petrol price hike responsible for the hardship the citizens are currently going through.
