Former Editor of the New Nigerian Newspapers (NNN), Dr Mahmud Jega will on Monday, January 31, this year deliver a Special lecture’s on the topic:- “Media, Security and Politics” an Analytical Perspective in Katsina.
Chairman of Katsina State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Alhaji Tukur Dan Ali said in a special invitation letter that, in addition to the lecture by Dr Mahmud Jega, Governor Aminu Bello Masari would Commission the new Sports Complex and a Mosque established by the new officials of the council at the Secretariat behind Danfodio Institute, Kofar Kaura Lay – Out in Katsina metropolis.
Alhaji Tukur Dan – Ali said after Commissioning, Governor Bello Masari would hand over the Mosque to the community residing close to the Secretariat for conduct of five daily prayers.
Alhaji Dan – Ali hinted that, National President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Chief Chris Isiguzo would also be in Katsina to grace the two occasions and present an Award of Excellence to Governor Aminu Bello Masari at a dinner.
