The death has been announced of Mr. Simon Edeh, younger brother to the Chairman of Benue State Football Association (BSFA), Barr. Paul Edeh, who died on Wednesday September 20, 2022.
Aged 43, Mr. Simon, a personnel of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) passed on after an accident within his duty post, along the highway in Daudu, a community close to Makurdi, Benue State capital.
Already, his family has announced the burial plans of their departed loved one.
Announcing the schedule of funeral arrangement on Saturday in Otukpo, Barr. Edeh said a wake keep for the late NSCDC Officer has been fixed for Thursday, September 28, while he will be buried on Friday, September 29.
According to him, the service of songs at the wake will take place in Otukpo, before the remains of late Mr. Simon will head to his home town – Orokam, Ogbadibo Local Government Area of the state for interment.
He is survived by wife, daughter and siblings.
