Emir’s Palace To Host IMAN ABUTH/ABU Free Medical Caravan In Zaria

The Islamic Medical Association of Nigeria (IMAN, ABUTH/ABU) Zaria has set February 2022 for its free Medical Caravan at Emir of Zazzau’s Palace.
Secretary General Of the association, Dr. Muhammad  Mustapha Yakubu made this known during a courtesy visit on the emir in his palace on Monday. 
He said,  they planned to do the Medical Caravan during his Highness’ one year anniversary but due to some problems it couldn’t hold at that time. 
Dr. Yakubu who represented the Amir of IMAN ABUTH/ABU, Zaria, Professor Abdullah Alkali Anna, said, having travelled to various communities in Zazzau Emirate, that is why they gave the hosting  right to emir’s palace. 
He highlighted some challenges they are going through like lack of vehicles dedicated to IMAN such as ambulances, low external funding and sluggishness in completion of the Creche and Academy. 
“Also general apathy to sponsoring health programmes and projects but with His Highness we believe that he will help to navigate and solve some of these challenges.”
On the achievements recorded by the association, the Secretary General  said they have done a lot which includes free medical consultations and drug distribution to over 6,000 to about five communities in thee last five years. 
Also, the embarked on free veterinary services to animals through collaboration with Muslim experts from Veterinary Teaching Hospital,  ABU. 
in his response, the emir of Zazzau, Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli commended the association for the humanitarian services they are providing to the less previlaged. 
Emir Bamalli urged them not to relent on this noble gesture they are doing as their reward will not be in Heaven only, but also on Earth. 
He assured them of his full support and commitment and also thanked them for the hosting right given to palace.
