The Emirate of Daura under the leadership of Alhaji Dr. Umar Faruk Umar has penned down one of Adamawa’s illustrious sons, Pharmacist Jesse Chidama with Farin Ganin Daura’s traditional title.
A letter presented to him on Thursday March 3,  said Jesse is a man with multiple identities as a good Nigerian whose passion for humanity is extended to his emirate.
Danejin Daura, Abdulmumuni Salihu signed the letter on behalf of the emirate council, which read that the humane nature of Chidama in providing school fees to the less privileged, empowering women and youth, and meeting the societal needs of many communities necessitated the bestowment of the traditional title.
Jesse who is aspiring to be the next federal lawmaker from Gombi/Hong Constituency, has his value chain for humanity traversing  many parts of Nigeria.
Responding to the honor done to Chidama through a delegation by the Emir from Daura, Abbo Sadiq who presented  the letter in Abuja, said the title is one of its kind, which is in bringing unity between Adamawa and Daura Emirate.
Abbo who is from Gombi Local Government Area, said Jesse is truly holding the future of the constituency if he can have his tentacles spread across many parts of the country, recognizing his worth and values, then he is the best for them come 2023.
“This man is not yet elected, yet he is doing much more than those we voted into power are doing. If a first-class Emir with historic and antecedents traditional leadership will give this rare honour to this promising young man, I’m sure he will deliver good representation for our people.
” I’m imagining how best he can represent us if he has been seen as the best to be so honored with this special award by the Emir of Daura. I’m sure he will do his  best to protect our interest in the National Assembly,” Abbo said.
The turbanning ceremony it was gathered, would be held at a  later date, expected to  bring together  people from far and near to witness the occasion.
