Election: CP, Law Enforcement Agencies Tour Kaduna Metropolis, Impressed With Peaceful Conduct

The Commissioner of Police on election duty deployed to Kaduna State Command, CP SUNDAY BABAJI psc(+)* has in company of heads of other security agencies, embarked on a tour of Kaduna metropolis and it’s environs, to observe level of compliance and enforcement of restriction of movement.

A statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Muhammad Jalige, dated Saturday February 25, said that  he was accompanied by heads of other sister security agencies, comprising the Department of State Security Service, Nigerian Immigration, Nigerian Customs, National Security and Civil Defence Corps, National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency, Federal Road Safety Corps, Nigerian Correctional Service, Fire Service, among others.

During the visit, he charged the electorates to come out enmass and vote for the candidates of their choice without fear of intimidation. 

He assured them of maximum security, stressing that Kaduna is peaceful and elections are ongoing smoothly.

The CP further warned those with intention to cause trouble, to be mindful of the fact that the long arms of the law will not let them go unpunished.
