*felicitates Muslims

An All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant in Oyo State in the last governorship primary, Engineer Oyedele Hakeem Alao on Friday, felicitated with Muslims in the state and the country on the celebrations of the Eid-el-Kabir.
Engineer Alao in his Sallah message by his media office, said though the present circumstances in Nigeria may test the faith of many, there is the need for all to be united in building a country of our dreams.
According to the APC Chieftain and the Asiwaju of Irokoland, Sallah festival symbolizes sacrifice, love and obedience as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim which faithful should emulate for peace, progress and unity of the country.
“The focus of this period is God’s love for mankind as demonstrated in the replacement of Ishmael with a ram in the test of faith for Prophet Ibrahim. It is thus important that we must sacrifice for others and remember always the less privileged as I believe that God will replace the bad times currently been experienced in the country”, he said
Engr Alao added, ” I therefore join millions of people around the world, to wish our Muslim brothers and sisters in our dear state and in Nigeria happy Eid-el-Kabir, which comes with significant lessons for mankind.”
“Eid al-Adha has become a symbolic event in the history of mankind, following the events that led to the sacrifice by Prophet Ibrahim, who held tenaciously to his faith in God despite his unpleasant circumstances at the time.”
