Plateau State Police Command has congratulated Muslim Ummah in the state on the successful completion of the sacred Ramadan fasting and wished all Eid Mubarak.
The Command enjoined all stakeholders in the security network of the state which include NURTW, Traders Association, Market Association, JNI, CAN, Civil Society Oganizations and other groups to contribute meaningfully towards a peaceful and hitch-free Sallah Celebration.
He said measures have been put in placed to ensure for all places of worship (praying grounds) in the state are “secured.
According to him, ” public are equally enjoined to be vigilant and support all security measures put in place to safe guard lives and property by providing useful and credible information to security operatives.”
The Commissioner of Police, Bartholomew N. Onyeka psc reiterated his commitment to the fight against crimes and criminality in the state.
He urged all and sundry to be security conscious and report promptly any suspicious movements of persons or groups of people.
