Education: ZEDA Partners Kaduna Govt On JAMB, WAEC Others

The  Zaria Education Development Association (ZEDA), Dr. Abdul- Alimi Bello said  in collaboration with Kaduna State Government, they are preparing towards JAMB/WAEC and NECO examination.

The Chairman Central Working Committee of Zaria Education Development Association (ZEDA), Dr. Abdul-Alimi disclosed this in an interview,  after their indoor meeting with Governor Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai on Tuesday,  held at government house in Kaduna.

He said, the aim of their visit is to brief Governor Nasir el-Rufai, who is also a member of ZEDA on the proposal for the next general meeting of their 30th anniversary in  November, 2022.

Dr. Alimi expressed  appreciation for the honour granted their request and the opportunity to discuss areas of interest especially in the education sector of Kaduna State.

He said, “our outcome was a very fruitful discussion as brothers,  we look forward in collaboration more with the Ministry of Education.”

According to him, they also attest to the tireless efforts of the state government in contributing to the development of Zaria and its environment.

“However, ZEDA is a non-for-profit but voluntary and community based association dedicated to the improvement of education  in Zaria environs and Nigeria in general,” he explained.

He said the association was established on  December 5, 1992 and is registered with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).

He thanked the governor for the kind gesture and consideration shown to the association.
