In a bid to clear the rumors on the alleged jubilation  that People’s Democratic Party (PDP) will soon takeover the leadership of the state, the Ebonyi State chairman of All Progressive Congress (APC), Chief Stanley Okoroemegha has re-affirmed the commitment and dedication of the party to move the state forward, stating that Ebonyi people’s mandate to governor Francis Nwifuru, is sacrosanct and nothing will happen to it.

The state APC Chairman, Chief Stanley Okoroemegha stated this in a press conference in Abakaliki, the capital of Ebonyi State.

The party chairman said that the PDP Guber candidate of the 2023 elections, Chief Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii should concentrate on his business and come after 16 years because power belongs to God.

According to him, re-run election can only be conducted in  Ebonyi South Senatorial  as a result of the resignation of the former Senator David Umahi, who is now Minister of Works, saying that the Senatorial seat is for APC as the party will do everything possible to fill a popular candidate that is widely acceptable to the people in order to win.

He further explained that they are waiting for INEC to fix a date for the re-run.

`The people’s mandate has been given to Ogbonnaya Nwifuru and it is sacrosanct, nothing will happen to it. There is nothing wrong about one making himself to be happy. Petty politicians are like 419 people; if they hook on you and are eating you, they will continue.

`The man called Anyichuks, is a novice in the business; he is a very good businessman, but the unfortunate thing is that, he would have concentrated on his business until when he gets such a call coming from God because power belongs to God. The people milking him are those that can’t do any other thing. They saw him as an avenue of making bread.

“Anyichuks should go back to his business and wait for the next 16 years, if he is fit, he should come and run for governorship in this state. For now, the god of Ebonyi has spoken and it is final,” he declared.
