Ahead of local government councils election in Ebonyi State, the chairmanship aspirant of Ohaozara Local Government Area, Hon. Ajah Chinonso has pledged to run an all inclusive government to ensure that all the communities in the area are well represented if elected.
Hon. Ajah made this known in Abakalliki after submission of his expression of interest and nomination forms at APC secretariat in line with EBSIEC electoral guidelines.
The chairmanship aspirant was accompanied by supporters from different communities in Ohaozara LGA who came to show their solidarity and support to the aspiring chairman.
Hon. Ajah appreciated the party stalwarts for the overwhelming solidarity pledging to consolidate on the achievements of Governor David Umahi who has already laid a strong foundation for development in all parts of the state and also reaffirmed his commitment to give Ohaozara people the best.
He also charged them to continue to support the programmes and policies of Ebonyi State Government as well as the APC gubernatorial candidate in order to ensure victory in the 2023 general election.
While receiving the chairmanship aspirant at the party secretariat, the state Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha commended the aspirant and his supporters for their peaceful disposition and continuous support to the present administration, led by Governor David Umahi, saying that the victory of APC in all elective positions in the state is inevitable.
Chief Emegha further stated that Ohaozara people have made the right choice through the emergence of Chinonso Ajah as their consensus candidate in the forthcoming council election.
He therefore, assured the people that Hon. Ajah will deliver on the mandate by ensuring equitable distribution of dividends of Democracy in the council and also urged them to give him maximum support during and after the election to enable him succeed.
Also speaking, the Chairman of APC in Ohaozara Local Government Area, Mr. Francis Orie and the former Chairman of the party in the council, Mr. Okoro Nnachi both applauded the governor for infrastructural development across the state, adding that Umahi has restored the lost glory of Ebonyi State.
