Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru is set for the recruitment of 195 medical personnel, cutting across medicine, nursing, laboratory scientists, pharmacists, health attendants.
According to the statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Dr.Emma Uzor, the following number of medical personnel are to be recruited to fill various vacancies in the 13 general hospitals in the state: medical doctors, 39, nurses, 39, laboratory scientist 39, pharmacists, 39, health attendants, 39.
“In fulfilment of his promise to reposition the health sector, the Governor of Ebonyi, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has approved immediate recruitment of medical personnel for the 13 general hospitals in the state.
To this effect, the governor has directed the Head of Service, and Chairman Civil Service Commission to urgently commence the process of recruiting suitably qualified medical personnel to fill the existing vacancies.
