Emphasizing the enormous implication of the death and resurrection of Christ Jesus,Oba Adetunji said, “you don’t have to jump into the Lagoon or hang yourself because of economic depression. Those who believe in God always laugh last”.
He stressed that “it is wrong to have the celebration of Easter without the substance and that the substance is that Jesus Christ died, he was buried, he is risen and alive”.
Oba Adetunji then urged all the well-meaning people in the society to have consideration for the poor and the needy in the spirit of Easter.
